Nature and greenery are rare sights and therefore even more attractive.
These delicate seedlings are specimens of a germination test at standardized conditions exhibited at ACHEMA 2018. A wick reaches into a water bath below the filter papers which provides the required humidity and desired temperature. The transparent cover dome provides the air humidity being required for the germination. A little hole in the upper end of that dome ensures sufficient supply of fresh air and minimum evaporation at the same time.
